- I live in Truro, Nova Scotia with my husband Earle, and our dog izzy. Our son Matthew is away at college. I began painting in 1990. I am self taught. I enjoy experimenting with various styles, colors, textures and techniques. I am forever learning. I have illustrated a children's book entitled, "Good Night Flying Cows", and created my own book of poems and illustrations while going through the healing process of breast cancer. I have worked with many wonderful organizations and companies through licensing of my artwork, and also through commissions: Heifer International,House of Assembly - Nova Scotia,Tim Horton's Children's Foundation,American Humane Organization,Humane Society of Canada, World Society for Protection of Animals, Paws/LA Org.,Unicef - 2005 Campaign, Tree House Animal Foundation,SPCA International

wow your work is lovely, and I love the book you created for your friend, lucky friend.
I see you live in Nova Scotia, I know it is a big place but I have family there and I know his brother died a while ago but he had quite a few children who still live in the area. We used to get photos titled 'our new car' and all we could see was a pile of snow with a roof. My Dad is getting quite old now and unfortunately we have lost contact with them. A bit of a stab in the dark but you don't know any Quinn's do you?
