- I live in Truro, Nova Scotia with my husband Earle, and our dog izzy. Our son Matthew is away at college. I began painting in 1990. I am self taught. I enjoy experimenting with various styles, colors, textures and techniques. I am forever learning. I have illustrated a children's book entitled, "Good Night Flying Cows", and created my own book of poems and illustrations while going through the healing process of breast cancer. I have worked with many wonderful organizations and companies through licensing of my artwork, and also through commissions: Heifer International,House of Assembly - Nova Scotia,Tim Horton's Children's Foundation,American Humane Organization,Humane Society of Canada, World Society for Protection of Animals, Paws/LA Org.,Unicef - 2005 Campaign, Tree House Animal Foundation,SPCA International

Woa... I'm LOVING this bedroom! That desk and headboard?!? Couldn't have come at a better time. My son is aching for a big boy's room. I'm all over this one!

Thanks ladies....I love my sons bedroom as well.....he has now gone off to university...but it is there and ready for him whenever he comes home. The headboard was made from doors that came from his Great Grandparents home...so they have special meaning....I absolutely love the desk with the chrome industrial legs....I got the legs from a restaurant equipment store that sells used tables and things...love them! I did the artwork myself using images of him which I played around with in photoshop and just printed them out and framed them.
