Judging People

Why do people judge others without even truly knowing them??? I try not to judge a person from what others say. I like to find out about the person myself and get to know them before I form an opinion or judgement about them. That is the mature, grown-up thing to do. Not everyone gets along. When I hear badly of someone whom I am getting to know, I ask myself, "has this person done anything to hurt me, my family or loved ones ?" If the answer is no, then I hope I am the type of person to rise above the crap that people say and spread about another, and give them a chance. Life is too short to swim around in bullshit!
